Go to things, attend

People like going to events or attending things.  Especially when there's an intriguing agenda.  I bet a large majority of the music industry profits today are from live events and performances.  I remember hearing that the Rolling Stones made like half a bil in revenue.  Stands to assume that trade shows, webinars and "events" like concerts will stand to endure the test of time, shortening attention spans, reduced budgets and online technology.  Go places, attend things, involve yourself and interact - you can't replace them... yet.  The key is to know how to get more out of involvement and strategically plan your time.
